Homophobia in the devine nine
I am shocked that in the year 2001 people still have ignorant views towards homosexuals and bi-sexuals. All of our organizations were founded on service and love for fellow man. I don't understand how a members sexual prefrence effects there dedication and value to their sorority/fraternity. I believe people really just need to get over the fact that homosexuals and bi-sexuals are in their organizations. I know a que who came out to one of his line brothers and now the whole chapter wants nothing to do with them. they shun him and don't even acknoledge him as a member. He is so hurt. We are people to and we have feelings. I would like to hear more from other non-heterosexual fraternity members and sororities members to speak out against this evil and not let this type of behavior go unchecked. I know for myself personally, I do not believe homophobia has any place in AKA!
