One of the most misunderstood lyric has to be in Jimi Hendrix's song "Purple Haze."
He sings: "Excuse me while I kiss the sky"
It sounds like: "Excuse me while I kiss this guy"
Now it makes sense though because I'm pretty sure Jimi didn't play for that team.
