Hey, Amandamarie
I agree with what everyone else is saying--
please give Alpha Phi a try! When I went through recruitment I was rushed by some girls who I thought were absolutely miserable... however, after I pledged and got to know them outside of the high pressure craziness of recruitment, they became some of my best friends. Recruitment week is like an alternate universe... things are always a lot different (and usually a lot better!) when the pressure of rushing, quota and all of that other stuff is gone. Even though it may not seem this way now, you're pretty lucky to know about the cuts now, rather than opening up your bid card and seeing a group that you put third or fourth... this way, you can see if you can find your home at Alpha Phi, rather than getting swept up in the bid day festivities and having to make a hasty decision. At pref tonight, remember to look at the other pnms at the party-- see if you've gotten to know any of them throughout the week and if you would like to call them your sisters, too (this helped me a lot during recruitment!!).
When I was little and studying for my fist test my mom told me, "If you don't know the answer go with your gut... it's usually right." I think that this advice may apply to picking sororities as well...
I'm sure that everything will work out well for you...
Sorry this is so long... man, can I write a lot when I'm trying to avoid doing actual work at my job!!
