I have been following your thread all summer. You've been one of my favorite PNM's! Have you talked to your recruitment counselor ? She would probably be able to offer you some good advice.
I reread your thread and it seems that Alpha Phi was your favorite group the very first night. I think first impressions are pretty important because they're usually based on a gut instinct. I would definitely go to Pref tonight. If you just don't feel a connection then don't sign a bid card. This way you could still be eligible for a snap bid or C.O.B later on.
