Okay so I got a new computer (it has XP...I'm not hooking it up to the net until this whole worm thing dies down...) and it's not making any sounds!
Everything else seems to be working okay, and all the sound stuff is installed properly etc. I checked help and troubleshooting and now GC is my last hope before I resort to calling the computer genius ex-boyfriend to come over and figure out where I'm being stupid. If anyone thinks they know what's up, PLEASE HELP!!
