First, I would start a program for single teen and (God help us) pre-teen mothers. Focusing on :
> getting a diploma or GED
> education on care for their children and themselves
> self esteem building workshops
> sex education
> work on achieving what ever future goals they have: going to college, achieving a career, etc..
Second, I would develop centers in various neighborhoods for people, especially the elderly, to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Focusing on:
> Exercising and staying healthy
> proper diet and nutrition
> socializing
> Staying mentally active
Third, I would have to institute a state wide sex education and disease prevention program. The myths people have about sex, even as adults are ridiculous and dangerous. Focusing on:
> What is catagoized as sex
> How to be safe
> Diseases
> Birth Control
> Self Respect
Forth, I have to help our public school systems since ever year they cut more money from the budget for school.
Finally, I would contribute to the arts and culture department; helping to introduce art and culture to those who may not have known it otherwise.
