Ok, for the sake of my point, let's assume that this young lady made the first post, saw the backlash and is now trying to get herself out of it by trying to pretend that someone else is posting about her.
I feel bad for her.
Why? Because she's young and young people do dumb stuff sometimes. Maybe she misunderstood what it meant to go through recruitment. Maybe she was a bit arrogant. Maybe she just wants to fit in so much that her judgement lasped.
Weren't you young once too?
Because she's young, she's still learning how to be mature. Instead of admitting that she made a mistake or didn't understand how the process goes, she's made up some silly story about other people posting as her. Though, to "make sure" people buy her cover up, she has to weave a bigger web. Is that the right thing to do? No, but it's not something that is outlandish for a high schooler to do.
She's probably scared now about her chances at recruitment and that's punishment enough. I think she has learned a lesson about what not to say in public.
I'm not thrilled with what she did either, but I still have enough heart to accept that people make mistakes.
