Yes it is a traditon with alot of the older chapters. But be careful some chapters that are new or restarts don't know the tradtion and will go to ihq about it. It happened to my chapter once. All we had to do was return the stuff, but before that some of the guys from that chapter came to visit but wanted to beat ass. Brotherhood at its best.
Some people just don't understand traditions they would have gotten it back no matter what it was never meant to be bad.
