I have always said that if I ever came into a huuuuuuugggge sum of money that I would build an apartment complex for the homeless, where they can stay rent free for about 6 months. During this time, they should be able to find a job (even if it's only at McDonald's) and save a little bit of money toward a security deposit or small down payment on a home. I would provide some clothing as well, and bring in someone to teach on interviewing skills, dressing for success, and help those that need help with furthering their education.

So many times, homeless people have had an unfortunate turn of events that has caused them to be in their situation, and I'd like to help get them back on their feet.
