Yeah, I guess single-parent wasn't what I was really trying to say. It's more like latch-key kids. Back in the day (when I was in elementary school), there were one or two kids who had to do this, and everyone talked about how bad their parents were. (Gotta love small towns..
) Now, it seems to be the norm. It's a lot easier for a kid to call & order pizza than it is for the parent to leave a prepared meal.
