I really don't want to be negative either, but your campus from what I heard has a very very...very weak greek life. I have a cousin who is greek in that area and he says that greeks work very hard just to get two or three new members. It's so sad to hear him talk about how greek life used to be on campus. It seems like there is a large number of greek organizations on campus fighting to appeal to a small section of the student body who is actually interested in pursuing membership. It's not just your campus but I'm sure that you have read on other threads that interest for some reason just aren't interested like they used to be on campus.
I know that most people come on here to get constant encouragment to keep staying strong, but I feel like we should also lay out the facts too. If there was a large number of women on campus being turned away from greek life because there aren't enough sororities on campus like Nu Beta Omicron's school, I would say go for it. But if there isn't much interest in the existing organizations, I would say just be careful.
