Initially, I would be shocked and upset. But if the organization felt that discontinuing intake for a period of time was in its best interest, then myself as an interested individual would have no choice but to be accepting of that decision. In the mean time I would stay on top of my grades, community service and research all while remaining prayerful and vigilant. And if it was meant for me to become a member then it will all come to pass in due season.
