The term is Alumni Association. We've had them in some form since the 50s. The National website has a list of all the officially recognized ones.

If there isn't one in your area, start one. There is info at the National site on how to do this.

Each AA does there own thing. All try to do a mixture of social and service events, like chapters, but on a smaller scale since many members have other things in their lives (work, family, etc.) They will also try to get their members involved as volunteers within APO, attend APO conferences/conventions, help out and work with local chapters, etc.
