In my experience, women in technical/science fields weren't as common in Greek life, either. My GLO is a professional
arts fratenrity, so you can imagine the lack of such women here
However, we did have one environmental science and math major in my graduating class, and a sprinkling of math/science majors (especially education) who had a love for art/music, etc. Our school had a School of Nursing, but I wasn't aware of a large number of them being Greek (of course, I could be wrong... that's my perception and memory!)
