It was very common at my school for people to make bibles. Bibles ranged from just your lecture notes, to every piece of paper associated with a course, including problem sets, tests, and answer keys to same. You could then use these bibles as reference material later on if you took a course that built on the material, or you could lend them out to people taking that course in later semesters. Most living groups and GLOs had bible libraries; I donated a couple of bibles to my sorority.
