I lost my virginity to a guy I was engaged to, after I planned to wait until marriage. I didn't break up with him for a long time because of that, but after I finally did, I was a little... more generous with my affections, shall we say? The whole time I wished that I had kept my commitment to wait, so I renewed that commitment and have been celibate for more than 3 years.
