On Bid Day we got tee shirts and a bunch of little things -- stickers, a cup, pens, a keychain, I forget the rest.
When I found out who my big was, she gave me a stuffed dolphin.
We also get tons of presents from our moms right before initiation. I got a Tri Delta champagne glass (I mean . . . juice glass
) with a bottle of sparkling grape juice, a little stuffed dolphin, a notepad, a framed copy of our family poem (everybody gets these, although the poems are different), a candy bowl with a bunch of candy in it, and more -- I can't even remember half of the stuff.
