Wow, you all got some pretty cool stuff.
On Bid Day, I got a black tote bag with black and white plaid letters on it, my "Delta Zeta and You" book (which is missing...
), a notepad with a cute turtle on it, a DZ pen, and my very first letter shirt. We had a sleepover at the house that night, and I wore my new shirt home the next day to show my parents because I was so proud of it.
In the weeks that followed, we also got "Turtle Tot" gifts from the actives, which were things like DZ cups, car window decals, notepads, and picture frames. We were showered with gifts all the time--but we liked spoiling our new members like that.
