I think that he is trying to indicate to the American public that G Dubya is an idiot (as if we didn't already know). I also feel that he realizes that GDub was using him as one of the token Blacks in his administration (as if we didn't already know) AND that after he tried to lay blame on him for the whole 9/11 ordeal he just decided to get the hell out.
I don't feel wholeheartedly that his wife had a lot to do with his decision. Although she probably gave him the push and nod to leave......
