I like the interpretation that Senusret I mentioned: 'rebirth.' I think that is applicable too.
"Deuteron" simply means "second," or "the second," as in "[the] first, [the] second, [the] third..."

Among those GLOs that use it, it can have different meanings, such as a chapter that has closed and been re-opened, or simply the second chapter with a given letter designation (e.g., Alpha Deuteron and Beta Deuteron instead of the more common Alpha Alpha and Alpha Beta).
