And MY argument is that if your personal situation is that crucial, then perhaps maybe--just maybe--the LAST thing you need to be thinking about is pledging. That's all I'm saying. Sometimes the timing just isn't right and we need to determine our priorities. NEVER should pledging a sorority or fraternity take precedence over academics and graduating. We have people bussin' their butts JUST to get the 2.5 so that they can pledge--NOT so that they can be in good academic standing and graduate! Then, their grades DROP when they're "on-line" because they STILL aren't focusing on why they're REALLY there. What ever happened to the days when pledging made you more disciplined and your grades actually went up? Let me quit...
