Beginning of my junior year of high school I chopped all my hair off almost as a rebellion against the uber-prissy attitude of what was feminine at my school (it was really long and layered). The back was shaved but it contoured in the front and looked very very cute. I would have kept it that way but my stylist moved to a more expensive salon that I couldn't afford and no one else could recreate it. So, I spent 2 years growing it out and I just recently cut it up to my shoulders. I'm seriously contemplating finding a stylist that can do that cut again, because it was easy to maintain and still looked very feminine.
