Bid Day at U of Houston is always on the same day as pref. You go to pref in the morning, into early afternoon. Then bid matching happens that afternoon and you come back at night to get your bid. When you get your bid, you run upstairs to your chapter and they take you to their Bid Day (or Night
). Then you have school the next morning. But for the past couple of years rush has been after school starts, so it doesn't affect the first day of school
