Exclamation HELP! Need suggestions for a good webhost service ASAP!

Hi everyone,

I am in a bit of a pickle. I own eleven websites. Yes, eleven. Most of them are handled through URL masking to my ISP's generous webhosting space.

However, two of them require e-mail hosting to the tune of 5 e-mail boxes for one and about 50 for the other. Because my ISP doesn't offer a good deal, I ordered these services from another company. Well, that was last month and the two websites in question have been up and down. The problem here is that these two are *commercial* websites! My customers cannot reach me!!! Some days the webmail is down and somedays the website itself is down....I'm sorry, but that's just not acceptable.

I've visited tech support some 5 times in 4 weeks. Two days ago I gave them an ultimatum, fix it by the end of the week or I go elsewhere. They assured me that the required settings had been made and to wait 24-48 hours for the changes to go through. Well, two days ago my problem was that the websites were up but the e-mail hosting wasn't live. Today, after they "fixed" it, NONE of it is live.

That's it, I've had it. Dear GCers, I need your help. Can anyone recommend a good, and stable, webhosting company? Here's what I am looking for:

- Generous e-mail hosting (# of mailboxes)
- PHP, Java, CGI, MySQL, and so on....
- Since it's more than one site, it would be cool if they had an offer for people with multiple domains.
- Good value for money (I'm not paying $49.95/mo!!)

Call me a snob, but I absolutely refuse to use free internet hosting with lots of lame pop-up ads like angelfire, yahoo, geocities etc. Please do NOT suggest something like that to me.

I am NOT looking for "whatever is cheap". Of course, saving money is cool, but sometimes good service comes at a price.

Ok! So does anyone have any suggestions?

.....Kelly
