Perhaps you could get an ROTC scholarship? I did not have one when I was in - but did get a monthly stipend my junior and senior years. Women did not start getting ROTC scholarships until they were "allowed" in the coickpit and missile silos, by then I had graduated. Realize the military is not for everyone but I loved being in the military and miss it now that I am retired. I went in initially because my dad - a Navy man - made me. I hated it at first but am so glad now that I stuck with it. I had a great 22 year career, got to travel, had outstanding leadership opportunities, met a lot of great people, and have a decent retirement income now.
