But that's not the job of the Secretary of State. He's in charge of foreign policy - not national policy. I mean - be disappointed all you want to - it's your right as an American - but don't get mad at the brother for not doing something that isn't in his job description. Besides, I thought the mission of the WCAR was to discuss racism and xenophobia as it pertains to human rights injustices globally, not just "here at home".

Hm. It's still not an answer as to
why we do it. Why can't we be independent thinkers? Why are we so suspicious of anyone who doesn't do what the majority
thinks we should do? Some of us wield it like it's some police baton to be used to bludgeon people into submission, or at least into keeping our 'dirty laundry' amongst ourselves. I think that's something that really only works with folks who aren't secure in their identity in the first place.
