Okay, this is wierd.

I am hard-of-hearing... significantly enough to be a hassle, yet not bad enough to impair my conversational skills much.

But... I am always the one that hears things other people don't. Like a car pulling up to the house. Or someone coming up our stairs. Just last night, I was standing with my fiance in the kitchen, and I heard someone talking. He thought it was the TV, so I turned it off and I still heard it (he didn't). As I got closer to him, it got louder.... and it turned out his cellphone accidentally dialed voicemail and was reading off all his messages.

Just wierd things like that.
