thank you thank you THANK YOU!! That is exactly what I was going to say. What is thought of nowadays as "80's style" is more an MTV stereotype that very few real people wore (except for the cut up sweatshirts and later, big sweaters and stirrups). Actually, when I think of what we wore in the 80's it was more button-down oxfords, polo shirts and Docksiders.

I think the neon shirts or character shirts with maybe denim minis (today's popular style of jeans are extremely non-80's) would look much nicer.
