I think I would have done it...someone needed to tell her. I understand the issues of self-esteem and whatnot, maybe after this incident, she will realize that wearing stuff like that doesn't make her look as "cute" as she obviously wants to look.
I know I'm going to get a million and one flames over this, but it is possble that her mother knows. Some parents just don't have their priorities straight...just interested in going out and doing what they want to do. Of course, these are the same ones who ask where they went wrong when they become grandmothers at an early age. Mothers, especially single mothers, have careers outside of the home on a much wider scale than they did a generation or so ago, and don't see what their daughters and sons are up to. I know I STILL (at 20!) would not be let out of the house looking like that! Yikes!
