Our house is most definitely haunted - it is even featured in the book "Haunted Kansas." These were comments originally made about it in a different thread, but belong here as well:

Our chapter house was originally built as the Alpha Delta local fraternity back in 1929. During WWII, all greek life was suspended at the university, and the houses were used to support the war effort. Our house was used as a hospital...as legend has it, a lady being treated at our house fell in love with a man living at what is now the Alpha Phi house across campus...one day, the man left/died and the woman could not take the sorrow, causing her to jump down the circular staircase in the 'turret' part of our house, from the third floor all the way to the basement, where she instantly died, and has been in the house ever since. Occurances of the ghost happen almost every year, ranging from things that literally scare brothers into the 'fetal position' to unnatural occurences (example: this past year, a brother goes to the bathroom when house is near-empty and returns 3 minutes later to find a huge, extremely heavy dresser was moved across the room. Upon trying to see if a man could of done it, it was determined impossible without removing every single dresser drawer, which could not of happened in the extremely short time he was gone)

There is a hidden 'room' underneath the floor of our living room, about 4-5 feet high and extends for the length of the room (the basement does not cover that part of the house), accessible by going down to the basement, and climbing up through a hole in the ceiling and crawling for about 100 feet. You can also see the room by looking down a tiny hole in the floor caused by an electrical outlet that was taken out. Brothers that have gone into this room in the past have left things behind as memorabilia, ranging from their pledge manuals to athletic 'orange cones' to letters to bottles of Crown Royale for future visitors. It has also been an unofficial pledge activity to go in the room together. Well, 6 years ago a brother was crawling his way between the first floor and basement ceiling trying to get to this room. Before he was able to enter the room, he tensed up and could not move any further, and heard a female voice saying "You don't belong here" - He made like crazy back through that passageway (where there is only enough headroom to be able to crawl on hands and knees) in seconds, through the hole in the basement ceiling into the basement, where he was discovered about 10-30 minutes later by brothers who found him laying in a fetal position, barely conscious, looking absolutely scared shitless.
