I totally agree w/ you KappaKitty... Elves at Helm's Deep is a bigger deal than you would think... it was called "the Last Alliance" back in the day for a reason... never again would Elves and Men fight together in such a fashion. I think the liberty taken there would really piss Tolkien off had he been alive today.
Also, I think the Faramir change was shocking... when I first saw the movie, I was like WTF?!
The Aragorn almost dying thing pissed me off too... it was a waste of about half an hour that could've been used to include more of the actual Two Towers material into the film.
Whatever, ROTK I hear is going to be AMAZING. Can't wait
