Having grown up in Alabama, I consider Maryland southern but not part of the "deep south".
thats def. the answer i wanted to see....yeh i dont get the whole deep south vibe...I dont think I want that though I like just being alittle southern but not to southern (not that southern is bad) but i like the mix of it....
