We use Netflix. I'm not very involved in the movie selection - I leave that to my resident movie buff... but it's worked out quite well for us so far. We have the second tier plan... something like 5 movies at a time for $30/month. We always have new movies to watch, and with the frequency we get them, we more than make up for the money. Plus it's so nice not having to get them back to a store by 12pm Sunday or something like that.
