When a new person is hired at my work and I find out what college they graduated from, I ALWAYS ask if they "did the Greek thing".

I agree -- I never hide it and my conversations are always peppered with refs to my activities which frequently involve the Alum Panhel group here or my alum chapter of Gamma Phi or a nearby collegiate chapter of Gamma Phi...in fact, I always get a kick out of a person's reaction when he or she finds out I was in a sorority -- there's not a helluva lot of retired LtCols who were in sororities after all!
