Right now I'm reading The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc by Loraine Despres and I'm really enjoying it.

I just finished The Cheer Leader by Jill McCorkle, and I didn't like it. I picked it up because the story takes place in North Carolina, but there really aren't many references other than mentioning college names. The back of the book insinuates that the story has a lot of Southern culture in it, but I did not find this to be the case. I found most of the end of the book to be hard to get through because it's rambly.

Next I'm reading Jemima J by Jane Green and In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner. All very girly, light summer reading type books, but hey, I'm taking a break before school has me reading Shakespeare!

I also am waiting for I Don't Know How She Does It to come out in paperback, and I'd like to read The Devil Wears Prada.
