I think it does depend on the dynamics. Blood is thicker than water. I don't see myself wasting my time on someone who wasn't family. You have to know when to let go because if not you just subject yourself to more and more pain. But, that's just talk. Every situation and circumstance is different. I'll say a prayer for you and your situation
