I am not sure how other schools do their lists like this but we do something similar here. We list legacies, girls with 4.0's and LOTS of activities, and girls with special skills (singing, dancing, etc.) for the most part. Usually just because they have a rec that does
not mean they will necessarily make our list or be a rush crush. We have so many women go through recruitment so recs are helpful in the case that they might direct our attention to a PNM we overlooked in the hundreds of girls we have to look at, but for them to make our wish list there has to be something that stands out on their resume/info sheet. Hope that helps clear some things up.
