My original big sister was a horrible disaster. We had nothing in common. I'm wild and I don't like to make a point to conform (either in fashion or ideas), and she's, well, a
stereotypical sorority girl. I tried super hard to get to be close to her though, but it's impossible to make a one way thing work. She
never once hung out with me. Ever. The worst was the day at dinner I asked her if she wanted to hang out and she said no, because she was so super busy, but then three minutes later agreed to go hang out with someone else, right in front of me. After that, I decided I just didn't care anymore. It led me to become pretty disillusioned though, and I had even considered dropping. But then I was adopted by Lyre, whose little sis from my pledge class had actually ended up dropping. It seems things turned out for the best, since Lyre and I are without a doubt much more alike. And even though we've graduated, she and I actually remain in contact, which is great. She's awesome. She totally made my senior year rawk.
