I totally thought of Lorelai when I read this subject!
I wouldn't mind having Lorelai's life. For all of the reasons you mentioned, plus she has an awesome relationship with her daughter, a cool job (well, she owns an inn now!), great clothes, good hair (it looks great either super straight or with big curls- I'm jealous!) and hello! She has LUKE! Her sweet, scruffy and adorable diner man is wrapped around her finger and she doesn't even realize it. If she doesn't want him, I'll gladly take him!
And she's HILARIOUS! She cracks me up all the time.
