Yes, it is.

I don't really think Sigma "looks like an E." Even nonGreeks should be somewhat familiar with the Greek alphabet to know that "E" is Epsilon. But, to humor this discussion, my Sorority (Delta Sigma Theta) is DST, not DET.

I think you need to be accurate in your portrayal of your organization and others should be well informed as to what you are portraying.

PEZ does not equal Rho Sigma Zeta...spare yourself from having to explain that for years to come. There is a potential for both Greeks and nonGreeks to misunderstand what you're trying to do, and to ridicule you for (what they perceive as) your not knowing what your letters are....

On another note:

I think the "PEZ" problem has to do with the accuracy of the Greek alphabet. Beyond that, I don't see why an organization, such as Rho Epsilon Zeta, would be heartbroken to be known as PEZ. Then again, I'm not familiar with the social ins and outs of nonBGLOs.
