Most all of my x-stitches are smaller patterns, but I've never done one with 50 different colors

Usually when I'm working on a larger pattern & have to count blocks for a large area of space to start stitching again, I count the space about 10 times to make sure I got it right (those blocks are so tiny!).. and even then, sometimes I end up a little of... I try my best to compensate for it though.. like if I'm off by a teensy few that isn't too noticable, I'll condense the middle section inward or outward depending if I under- or over-counted my space.
