Hope you don't mind me posting here, but from someone who suffers from horrible seasonal allergies I just wanted to post a quick reply.
Allegra has worked well for me (i have horrible seasonal allergies and am allergic to some cats. not all, its weird) but i developed a sinus infection on it, since i did not take it every day, only when i felt the need to. The doctor told me if i wanted to remain on allegra to take it everyday all year long. She then wrote me a prescription for zyrtec(10mg) and recommended i try it before going back on allegra. It is the best drug i have ever taken. I usually can feel results inside of 10 mintues. And it works the whole day through, no giving out 4 hours later like some OTC sinus medications. Also I have found that it works well on my seasonal allergies and my cat allergies (when i visit my parents, they have 2 cats at their house so i can't just avoid them) where allegra really didn't help out my allergies due to cats. And I only take it when i need it, I don't have to remember to take every darn day. Hope this helps, I know how miserable allergies can be
