AMERICAN IDOL AUDITIONS
`AMERICAN IDOL' IS BACK AND COMING TO A CITY NEAR YOU…
The most talked-about show of last season is coming to a city near
you. Auditions for the third edition of the popular FOX series
AMERICAN IDOL are set to start in Los Angeles and continue to
Houston, Atlanta, and New York. Participants will vie for a spot on
AMERICAN IDOL and a chance at the title and a major recording
contract. This past May over 38 million viewers tuned in to watch
Ruben Studdard as he was crowned as this season's IDOL. The next
season of AMERICAN IDOL is set to debut in January of 2004.
Auditions cities and dates* are:
LOS ANGELES, CA - To Be Announced
HOUSTON, TX - Wednesday, August 13
ATLANTA, GA - Tuesday, August 20
NEW YORK, NY - Monday, August 25
