both my parents are from London (mum is from Wembley, dad is from Woking), but met in Vancouver
and my boyfriend is also first generation Canadian - his parents are from Belfast.
For the most part my family hails from Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales - but there is also some German floating around.
My family has just made a very interesting discover lately - on my maternal grandmother's side we have been able to trace our family back to 10th century Yorkshire
