Some of the Superstitions my mother/grandmother tell me are:
Always throw away your toe nail/finger nail clippings, if you don't someone will take them and put a spell on you.
You aren't supposed to let someone step over you while you are laying on the floor because it will bring badluck.
If someone sweeps over your feet with a broom you will never get married.
If a lizard falls on your head you are pregnant.
It's bad luck to play jacks(litti is what it's called where i'm from) in the house because it will bring bad luck.
You aren't supposed to throw away bread without wetting it first becuase it is wasteful/bad luck.
Don't rest your hands on your head because it's bad luck.
Put flour on your doorstep at night to keep the witches out.
When your hand is itching you will be coming into money.
If you dream of a dog attacking you, then you are going to lose a friend.
Those are just a few that I can remember.
