I have heard everyone of those!
the only thing is on New Years my family always said be sure to have some sort of money in your wallet, eat cabbage for money(and you hang one good cabbage leaf over each entrance)and black-eyed-peas for good luck!
The fish dream goes all over the place it seems..they even used that one on Soul Food
as well as "Don't sweep your trash out the front door" LOl
