It's been a couple years since I've seen it, so I can't remember all of it. I think there are some parts of it that are still fairly accurate to today -- except that I would be willing to say that the things portrayed in the movie are starting to expand outward to suburban and middle-class kids instead of just being limited to "the ghetto."
I have a friend who did a sociology paper on this movie last year . . . I should ask him what he thinks.
