Smile ET interviews " America's Next Top Model"

Girl, you better work! Brown-haired, green-eyed, 20-year-old ADRIANNE CURRY proved she had all the right stuff to become "America's Next Top Model" last night when the UPN series aired its finale.

The 5-foot-10-1/2-inch beauty was ecstatic at the judges' decision. As "America's Next Top Model" producer and judge TYRA BANKS predicted, "She has come such a long way, and she really wants this."

As the winner, Adrianne will receive a multi-faceted grand prize package featuring the opportunity to receive a Revlon modeling contract and to be managed by Wilhemina Models, in addition to a guaranteed appearance in Marie Claire magazine. Tune in to tonight's ET as we chat with Adrianne and find out what's next for her!

Adrianne's strong desire to attain her goal may have been the deciding factor in the outcome. But it may be that there are no losers. Strong performances by both runner-ups -- ELYSE SEWELL or SHANNON STEWART, who each had their own special qualities -- could land them contracts with other agencies.

"Elyse can potentially rock the fashion world," Tyra commented. "She has such a high-fashion editorial look. She is perfect for high fashion, but I don't know if Elyse wants this enough. Girls that are ambivalent aren't usually successful."

As for Shannon, Tyra says, "Shannon is warm and fuzzy and all-American," she says. "Her smile is -- ping! In order for her to be successful and take it to the next level, she is going to need to be edgy."

On yesterday's ET, we addressed the issue of whether or not the ultra-thin Elyse has an eating disorder. The 5-foot-10-inch, 115-pound wannabe model came to us to set the record straight.

"I don't care if anyone says I have an eating disorder any more ... let them think it," Elyse spoke candidly. "My boyfriend doesn't have a problem with my thinness, my doctor doesn't have a problem with it. It's not an issue in my life -- only on the show."

Last week we asked former competitor ROBIN MANNING whether or not she thought that Elyse had a problem.

"I question a couple of her eating habits," the 5-foot-9-inch beauty told us. "She didn't eat much. Maybe she wasn't as hungry all the time."
