I posed this question in a forum that I am co-founder of and for the longest time I wasn't sure of my answer. Each of the founders have qualities that are similar to my own but I think Lucy Diggs Slowe is the founder that is most appealing to me. She and I have similar paths in that I am a working student as was she. I also appreciate her versatility and interest in different activities inside and outside of college. What stands out the most for me is that she was known for her enthusiasm and activism for her sorority. I know that organizations that I have been a part of being enthusiastic and active are qualities that are EXTREMELY important to me. It shows that you fully understand the history and positive impact of said organization.
