There may be a couple of people on GC that I mentioned where I am headed to, but I know they have no ties to my campus. In fact I haven't seen anyone that posts regularly on GC from that school. There is a different school very close by, and I have seen posters from there. Though those people are great and I know they won't tell me anything. I told one mod that I think I have an advantage over a lot of other PNMs; I don't know anyone there, and have no idea about stereotypes and any hierarchies. My only contact was with the KDs for a tour, and the Greek Advisor. Even if I heard disparaging things about a chapter, I don't care. If I feel comfortable there, they like me, and I can see myself calling these women sister for the next 80 or so years, who cares what their local rep is? I'd rather be in a group that may not be the most popular, with sisters I love, than be in a group for the sake of names and impressions any day.

Even if I don't receive a bid, I can always do AI after school. I try to remain positive. Though I have a streak of sarcasm

That's the right way to do it (and what I did!!) SDT isn't the most popular on my campus but it didn't make a diffrence to me!
